Sharaf Order ((アゼルバイジャン語:"Şərəf" ordeni)) - translated as the ''Order of Glory'', is the order of Azerbaijan Republic. The order is ratified by Ilham Aliyev-the President of Azerbaijan, on February 16, 2007, by the Decree No. 248-IIIQ. ==Status== The Sharaf Order of Azerbaijan Republic is given to the citizens of Republic of Azerbaijan, foreign nationals and non-citizens for the following services: *special contributions to Azerbaijan Republic and the nation; *special contributions to constructing of Azerbaijani statehood; *special contributions to the economic, scientific, socio and cultural development; *special contributions in science, culture, literature, art, education and health sector. The Sharaf Order is pinned to the left side of the chest and if there are any other orders or medals of Azerbaijan Republic the Sheref Order follows them.
